FOSAR Inspections: VISTAS has over 25 years of experience in FOSAR inspections, including :
- Steam Generator FOSAR
Steam generator inspection services such as foreign object search and retrieval; J-nozzle weld and feed water ring inspections; general upper secondary inspections; ultrasonic thickness gaging; tube support plate top-down and quatrefoil inspections through inspection ports; U-bend visuals through swirl vanes or ports; and any other required visual inspection procedures.
- Balance-of-plant visual inspections and/or retrievals from piping systems
- On-site FOSAR and visual inspection training for utility and subcontract personnel.
- Consulting: Performing FOSAR (Foreign Object Search and Retrieval) inspection utilizing on-site plant personnel as the crew.
On Site Staff Augmentation :
- Consulting for steam generator secondary side visual inspection including FOSAR, upper internals inspection, ultrasonic thickness gaging.
- Procedure preparation, or review for steam generator repair, inspection, qualification, or maintenance procedures.

Lower Reactor Head BMI Inspections: VISTAS has successfully performed critical path lower reactor head inspections for boron leakage since the spring of 2001.
Upper Reactor Head CRDM Inspections: VISTAS has successfully performed upper reactor head inspections visual inspections for boron leakage since the spring of 2001.
